We are capable of installing all types of floors; Hardwood, Bamboo, Laminate, Linoleum, Tile (all varieties), Marble, Carpet, Rubber, and decorative or basic concrete.

Siding

Vinyl Siding is among the most popular coverings for the exterior of houses today. It is often confused with Aluminum panels, which was one of the first alternatives to come out. Constructed of strong PVC, durable and coming in a wide variety of colors, it is easily installed by us. It also requires little care and is very low maintenance. Superior to Aluminum, Vinyl will not dent or scratch easily, and it never requires painting. Seamless Siding, a recent alternative which might be considered a hybrid of Vinyl and Aluminum is constructed on site and runs the entire length of your home. This prevents ugly seams and curling around the edges. Cedar or Wood is always an option, and can refer to any number of coverings like Cedar Shingles, Shakes, or Clapboard. No worries with Trust, whichever you decide on installing you can count on us to do it professionally and in a timely manner!

Roofing

We use only materials of the highest quality. Roofing products, we feel we are the one place where companies dont try and save money by using sub-par materials without telling the customer. Always ask about the quality of material your contractor is installing on your home and have it in writing. A contractor can always meet a lower bid but it will almost always be a sacrifice in quality of materials, usually resulting in unsatisfactory results. Trust Home and Earth use GAF, Owens Corning, and Feltex materials. We install ice/water shield on every valley of every roof because this is an important part of roofs in Pennsylvania due to our climate and the occurrence of "ice-damning". This is where water will go up the roof due to water melting and then re-freeze. Roofs are not made to protect water going up a roof, so this barrier will prevent water getting into your home. Asphalt shingles are also known as composition shingles, and they are a very popular choice as they are inexpensive and extremely durable. Once installed, they can last anywhere between 20 to 30 years. These shingles are strong and sturdy, you can even walk on them without causing any damage. They are fire resistant, and the most popular choice for shingles in today's homes. Asphalt shingles can be manufactured in a wide range of colors and styles. Slate is a very costly choice to roofing your home. It is considered the most sophisticated and stylish of all roofing material. Slate comes in a variety of textures, colors and quality levels. Roofs with natural slate shingles are very durable, and with the proper maintenance they can last indefinitely. Slate tiles are resistant to insects, weather, and they can also provide good protection against fire. Slate is very heavy so it is critical to make sure that your roof can withstand the extra weight. It isnt uncommon for these types of roofs to last 100 + years before needing replaced. Concrete shingles use to contain asbestos with provided a great fireproof, and protective roof, however with the health effects related to asbestos they no longer contain asbestos in them. Concrete manufactured cement and sand have been very popular choices for roofs in recent years. Concrete roofing is long lasting and requires very little maintenance. Concrete tiles are light weight and resistant to shattering, high winds, extreme temperatures, hail, and fire.

Decks and Patios

We can build decks and patios anywhere you want them and how you want them. Any size or shape youd like and we offer 4 types of material to build with; Naturally rot resistant wood - Cedar, Redwood, Cypress Aesthetically pleasing, structurally strong woods. Naturally resistant to dry rot. Easier to work with than treated (or pressurized) wood, but easy to dent and mark up since they are soft. Use middle and high-grades of wood, as the lowest grades will not stand up well to warping and weather. Chemically treated, or pressurized, wood - Pine or Fir treated with chemical preservatives Treated woods are less expensive than natural woods, and are artificially resistant to decay. Be sure to check on the type of chemical that is used, as poisons such as arsenic can be hazardous to human and environmental health. Look for a label that indicates the wood is kiln-dried. Synthetic lumber - Plastic, Vinyl, Wastewood and Rubber (many use recycled materials) Recycled plastic from milk jugs and grocery bags are used for plastic lumber. It comes in a variety of colors, and does not need painting. Vinyl lumber is similar to plastic and comes in white and other colors. Wood-polymer lumber is made from waste wood and recycled plastic and resembles wood in appearance. It can be stained or painted. Newly available rubber lumber is made of plastic and old tires. It is durable and stands up to water, insect and sun damage. Its only available in three colors, and the color is not guaranteed to last. Concrete Concrete decks have a proven durability. They will last a lifetime when cared for properly. Concrete does not necessarily need to be sealed to be water-resistant, depending on the grade used. Can be stamped and stained to look like wood or many other things.
